Thank you for visiting my blog!
I’m Brodie, a 22 year old resident of Tasmania, Australia. My main hobbies are Anime, games and Japanese pop-culture. I’m also interested in figure/model collecting, e-journalism, mobile technology, digital art, photography, life in Japan, designer characters, fashion/costuming, Internet and web innovations.
KuuBrog was created in March of 2009 and was formally a news blog for all things related to Anime and Japan. After a 3 to 4 month long hiatus, in January 2010 I decided to recreate KuuBrog with a different look and different purpose.
Now KuuBrog has become a more personalized blog, which I can use to present myself in a more modern manner and connect with others, whilst still maintaining KuuBrog as an Anime and Japan related blog.
My inspiration for creating a blog came from discovering Dannychoo.com. Danny is one of the most famous Japan-based bloggers and is well-known globally amongst many Otaku (and is also known as shoe designer Jimmy Choo’s son!). Danny’s website caters for bloggers that share the same interests, and the users’ latest blog posts are listed on services such as Danny’s Otaku.fm.
After discovering more and more blogs via Danny Choo’s website and subscribing to a large amount of RSS feeds, I decided to get in on the action and start KuuBrog.
I have now subscribed to over 110 blogs and websites based on Anime, Japan and technology, which I read on a daily basis via Google Reader.
All images posted on KuuBrog are copyright to their respective owners.
